A $1 trial is the cheapest way to see whether a premium site is worth paying for, but it's rarely the bargain it looks like. Most trials give limited access (fewer videos, no downloads) and turn into a full monthly membership unless you cancel, often at a higher price than the normal monthly plan.
We picked these from our reviews, where we read each site's join page for the trial and what it renews at. The longest trials come first: a week is enough to judge a site, a day usually isn't. Each trial shows when we last checked it, and trials that end drop off this list.
Before you start one, note the renewal price and the day it renews, set a reminder to cancel, and check whether a yearly plan would be cheaper if you already know you'll stay.
