Cam4 and Jerkmate solve the same problem, finding someone you like among thousands of rooms, in opposite ways. Cam4 gives you some of the most detailed filters on any cam site: country, language, body type, orientation, type (MILF, goth, domme and more) and show type, down to Live Touch rooms where tips control the model's toy. Jerkmate asks you a few questions and its recommender suggests models for you, with hundreds of categories if you'd rather browse.
Cam4 is free to watch, and public shows run on tips, like Chaturbate. Tokens pay for tips, private and group shows, and for spying on a private already in progress; first-time buyers get 15% more tokens at the time of writing. Jerkmate's free account lets you watch public rooms and chat, but the sign-up form asks for a card. Its currency is Gold, where one Gold is one dollar, which makes spending easy to follow; each model sets their own rates for private chats, cam-to-cam and group Gold Shows.
The performer mix differs too. Cam4 is strongest for real amateurs, couples and guys, so quality varies a lot. Jerkmate runs on Streamate's network, says more than 35,000 models go live each day, and feels more polished.
