How they compare

Both let you chat with an AI companion who replies with text, voice and pictures, and both let you build your own character.

Candy AI is the more complete app: voice messages, generated images and video, "In Series" characters based on real pornstars, AI-made "Shorts" series and a live cam section in the same account. It costs about $6 to $13 a month at the time of writing (October 2026), and images and extras cost tokens on top.

Swipey is built around designing her step by step: realistic or anime, her look, one of seven personalities, a scenario and a voice. Its terms say every character is fictional, with no photo uploads. Premium is $7.99 a month and adds voice calls, pictures and videos; extra "hearts" add to the cost.
