How they compare

Both come from Vixen Media Group, the Los Angeles studio founded by Greg Lansky, and share its glossy, film-like production and top performers. The difference is the theme.

Vixen is the flagship: luxurious, cinematic scenes with a broad range, more than 600 scenes and about 70 new a year. Full price is around $30 a month at the time of writing, with discounts and network deals common.

Blacked, the group's first brand (2014), applies the same polish to interracial scenes and is one of the most awarded studios of the last decade.
