Camsoda AI is the AI girlfriend app from CamSoda, the live cam site. You pick one of more than 200 characters, or build your own, and chat with her in the browser; she answers in her own voice, remembers what you talked about and sends generated photos when you ask. CamSoda says the chat engine grew out of the one it built for live cam interaction.

What's included

The library mixes AI-original characters (anime and realistic, from early twenties to forties) with AI versions of real performers, such as Katt Leya, Romi Rain and SureCakes. Each has a profile with her look, personality and interests, and her own private gallery of content to unlock. The character creator lets you set appearance, personality, voice and backstory, and your custom girlfriends keep separate memories from the rest.

The feature that sets it apart is the "live" shows: a cam-style scene where you level up a character by spending tokens on actions, from teasing and stripping up to full sex acts. There's also a standalone image generator and a video generator where you choose the setting, pose and action.

How you use it

Everything runs in a desktop or mobile browser, with no app to install, and chats sync across devices. Voice works by tapping the mic: your message is transcribed and she replies with synthesized audio. CamSoda says replies usually arrive in under two seconds, chats are encrypted and aren't used to train public models, and billing shows a discreet name rather than Camsoda AI. Payments run through Epoch.

What it costs

At the time of writing (November 2026), text chat is free and unlimited with any character, which is more generous than most AI girlfriend apps. Premium adds voice replies, unlimited photo generation, custom characters, longer memory and faster replies. It costs $9.99 a month, $22.47 for three months ($7.49 a month) or $59.88 a year ($4.99 a month), and each plan includes tokens every month (100, 200 or 300). Tokens pay for live-show actions and private content, and you can buy more.

Is Camsoda AI worth it?

The free tier is worth trying as it is: unlimited text chat with any character costs nothing, so you can see whether you like the characters before paying. If you do, the yearly plan at $4.99 a month is one of the cheapest premium AI girlfriend plans around, cheaper than Candy AI's. Candy AI is still the more polished, established app with a bigger feature set; Camsoda AI wins on price and on the cam-style live shows.

Who it suits

Camsoda AI suits anyone who wants to try an AI girlfriend without paying first, fans of the performers it has AI versions of, and CamSoda users who like the idea of a cam show that's always on. If you want the most polished app, look at Candy AI; for live human performers, CamSoda itself is the free cam site.
