Chaturbate is where most people start with live cams, and for good reason. Public rooms are completely free: you can browse, watch and chat without paying anything, and the sheer number of models online at any hour means there's always something on. The biggest rooms draw tens of thousands of viewers at once.
How it works
The homepage splits rooms into women, men, couples and trans, and every room carries hashtags (#fitness, #latina, #couple and so on) that you can filter by. Most public shows run on tip goals: the model sets a target in tokens ("200 tokens to goal") and something happens when the room reaches it. You can follow models to see when they're back online, and a separate Private Shows section lists who is taking one-to-one sessions.
What it costs
Watching and chatting cost nothing. Tokens pay for tips, private shows and spying on someone else's private. At the time of writing (October 2026), packs run from about $10.99 for 100 tokens to $79.99 for 1,000, roughly 8 to 11 cents a token, so bigger packs are cheaper per token. Tips in public rooms can be as small as a single token; privates are where spending climbs, since they're charged by the minute.
Who it suits
Chaturbate suits anyone who wants to watch live without paying, and amateurs and couples more than glossy studio-style models. If you mainly want polished private shows, LiveJasmin is built around them; for cheaper tokens, see BongaCams. Our guides to the best free cam sites and the best cam sites for private shows compare them.
