MyFreeCams has been around since the early days of live cams, and it still has one of the most loyal communities online. Its model list is ranked by CamScore, a running measure of how each model performs, and the Miss MyFreeCams rankings give the top performers a crown on their avatar. Many models have years of regulars who keep their rooms social and relaxed.
How it works
Anyone can watch for free, for as long as they like, without ads or nag screens. A free account lets you save favourites, send private messages and follow models; whether you can chat in a room is up to each model, and many limit chat to members who have bought tokens. Public shows run on tips, and you can filter the model list by region, new models, popular and trending rooms, or tags such as C2C. You can even turn on your own webcam for models and members to see.
What it costs
There are no subscriptions: you only ever pay for tokens, as one-time purchases, and bigger packs come with a small discount. Your first purchase makes you a premium member for good, which unlocks the members' Lounge and a gallery of model photos. Unusually, show prices are fixed across the site rather than set by each model. Private shows cost 60 tokens a minute, or 80 for a TruePrivate that nobody else can spy on, and spying on someone else's private costs 20 tokens a minute. Group shows start once three members ask for one and cost just 10 tokens a minute each. Club Shows are free for members of that model's fan club on MFC Share, where models also sell videos and photos.
Your private shows are recorded and kept in your archive to rewatch for free. New members who aren't happy can ask for a refund within 30 days, provided they've used no more than 200 tokens.
Who it suits
MyFreeCams suits viewers who like getting to know regular models in a community, and anyone who wants predictable prices.
